Time Eater

Act: ACT 3
Time Eater

Description

The Time Eater is an Act III boss that punishes decks that play too many cards per turn. It ramps its threat using Time Warp, which tracks how many cards you play; once you hit certain thresholds it can force your turn end and buff itself. It also has a Haste move once its health drops below half, making it very dangerous if you don’t plan burst damage around that phase shift.

Tips

  • Avoid playing too many cards per turn, or Time Warp will force you into bad positions.
  • Try to plan so that when Time Eater falls below 50% HP, you can either kill it the next turn or survive the Haste move (which resets debuffs and heals it).
  • Decks heavy in low-cost cards suffer here—look for scaling, high impact plays, or ways to stretch your deck for big turns.

Trivia

Time Eater’s Time Warp power persists across turns, meaning it's not just per turn punishment but accumulative. Also, its heal‑and‑cleanse via Haste makes killing it in one shot after threshold a common strategy among veteran players. :contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}
